We had the tremendous honor of welcoming NYC Schools Chancellor Melissa Aviles-Ramos to our school this past week for an unforgettable town hall event that brought students, families, educators, and community leaders together under one roof.
In a powerful show of partnership and transparency, Chancellor Aviles-Ramos engaged directly with our school community—listening to our concerns, celebrating our accomplishments, and sharing her vision for the future of public education across the five boroughs.
From the insightful questions posed by our students to the passionate reflections shared by families and staff, the evening was a reminder that our voices matter—and that our school plays a vital role in shaping the direction of NYC public education.
