Hello Campos! My name is Nereida Pena and I am the Parent Coordinator at Juan Morel Campos. I have served the Juan Morel Campos school community for 15 years. Before becoming the school’s parent coordinator, I was also a parent at Campos. My three children attended the school from 2002 - 2008. By staying involved, I became a strong member of the Campos Community. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I strive to create a welcoming school environment for our parents! We boast a vast, diverse community and I believe it is important that each member feels respected and appreciated. I consider myself to be a negotiator and facilitator for parents and the community. We would like our parents, just as much our students, to make honest efforts to apply themselves better with school activities, workshops, and community opportunities. I help families find information they are seeking within the school or our surrounding community. As well, alongside our PTA President, Ms. Callado, I assist in outreach for PTA activities, meetings, and elections. I am available to chat Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
