NHS, National Honors Society, is a high school program designed to promote students to
help out their community. Students have the opportunity to gain community service hours by
helping out their community free of charge. If one has obtained the amount of hours needed to
maintain a role in this program, they are rewarded with scholarship opportunities, networking
access, and leadership development skills at the end of the program. Tonight, past members,
advisors, parents, and soon to be members of the program gathered here to celebrate new
beginnings. A new group of members will now spend this school year assisting their peers,
family, and community through various tasks of hardships. Congratulations to everyone accepted
into this program. You are an example of a leader, scholar, integrity, and great values. Goodluck!
